About Wooden Sword
The wooden sword is the first real weapon most players craft. It deals 4 attack damage per hit, which kills common mobs like zombies and spiders faster than punching. It is the weakest and least durable sword tier, with only 59 uses before it breaks.
A wooden sword is best treated as a starter tool. It gets you through the first night safely enough, but you will probably replace it with a stone sword as soon as you have cobblestone.
How to get Wooden Sword
