- Exposed Copper Bulb requires a crafting table to craft.
About Exposed Copper Bulb
The Exposed Copper Bulb is the second oxidation stage of the copper bulb. It still works as a redstone-controlled light source, but it is a little dimmer than an unoxidised bulb.
Key facts:
- Gives off light level 12 when lit, down from 15 for an unoxidised bulb.
- Toggles on or off with any redstone pulse.
- Can be waxed with honeycomb to stop further oxidising.
- Scraping it with an axe returns it to an unoxidised copper bulb.
How to get Exposed Copper Bulb
You do not craft an Exposed Copper Bulb directly. Place a normal copper bulb and let it oxidise one stage, or scrape a weathered copper bulb back with an axe. It is not found in chests or sold by villagers, so the only route is through a crafted copper bulb changing state.
