About the Weathered Copper Bulb
The Weathered Copper Bulb is the third stage of copper bulb aging. It keeps the same redstone behaviour as a fresh bulb: a redstone pulse toggles it between lit and unlit, so you can use it as a controllable light source.
At this stage it has a worn, greenish look and gives off a light level of 8 when lit. That makes it dimmer than unoxidised and exposed bulbs, but it is still useful for weathered or moody builds.
You can wax it with honeycomb to stop it aging further, or scrape it with an axe to return it to an Exposed Copper Bulb.
How to get the Weathered Copper Bulb
You cannot craft a Weathered Copper Bulb directly. The usual way to get one is to place an Exposed Copper Bulb and wait for it to weather into this stage. Copper bulbs only age while placed, not in your inventory.
You can also find Weathered Copper Bulbs already placed in trial chambers. Mine one with a pickaxe and it drops as an item.
