- End Rod can be crafted directly in your inventory or in a crafting table.
About End Rod
The End Rod is a slim light block used mostly for decoration and for lighting builds with a cleaner look than torches. It gives off a light level of 14, the same as a torch, and you can place it on the top, side, or bottom of a block so the rod points in the direction you want.
Its pale, slightly alien look makes it popular in modern, sci-fi, and End-themed builds. It also gives off a subtle sparkle, which adds a little motion to builds without being noisy.
How to get End Rod
You can get End Rods by crafting them or by collecting them from End cities. To craft four rods, combine one blaze rod with one popped chorus fruit. End city towers and ships also use them as built-in lighting, so exploring the outer End islands is a good way to gather a lot fairly quickly.
