About Waxed Weathered Lightning Rod
The Waxed Weathered Lightning Rod is a copper lightning rod locked at the weathered oxidation stage. It still works like any lightning rod: it redirects nearby lightning strikes to itself, which can protect wooden builds from catching fire.
When lightning hits the rod, it also gives off a redstone signal, so some players use it to trigger circuits during storms.
Because it is waxed, this rod will not oxidise further. The weathered green look stays put until you scrape the wax off with an axe.
How to get Waxed Weathered Lightning Rod
You cannot craft this exact variant directly. Craft a regular lightning rod from three copper ingots placed in a vertical line, put it outside, and wait for it to oxidise to the weathered stage. Then use honeycomb on it to wax it and lock the look. If it oxidises too far, scrape it back with an axe first.
