About Waxed Exposed Lightning Rod

The Waxed Exposed Lightning Rod is a copper lightning rod locked at its exposed oxidation stage. It works exactly like a normal lightning rod: it pulls nearby lightning strikes toward itself and sends out a redstone pulse when hit. That makes it useful for storm detectors or for keeping lightning away from wooden builds.

How to get Waxed Exposed Lightning Rod

You can't craft this block directly. First, craft a regular lightning rod from three copper ingots in a vertical line. Then wait for it to oxidise to the exposed stage. If it has already aged too far, scrape it back with an axe until it reads as exposed. Finally, use honeycomb on the rod to wax it and lock the look in place. This is the only way to obtain it.
